Job summary

A leading investment management firm is seeking a Project Contractor to provide legal and regulatory advice predominantly on its Irish funds range. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of five years’ experience in-house or in private practice, with strong technical skills in funds regulation. This position offers a hybrid working model that promotes flexibility while fostering collaboration. Responsibilities include advising on applicable laws, supporting the legal team, and maintaining knowledge of regulatory changes impacting European operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years PQE in an international asset management organization or private practice.
• Experience interpreting funds regulation, particularly UCITS.
• Ability to manage complex legal issues independently and under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on Vanguard's Irish funds range.
• Advise on applicable law and regulatory developments affecting Irish funds.
• Support the wider Product / IMG Legal team.
