A large legal firm in North Yorkshire is looking for a junior Corporate/Commercial Solicitor or experienced Paralegal to join their in-house team for a temporary contract of 9 to 12 months. You will support a range of corporate and commercial legal matters and be an integral part of a small but supportive team. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for predominantly remote work with some office presence required. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.
Large company in North Yorkshire requires either a junior Corporate/ Commercial Solicitor (of 0 to 1 years’ PQE) or an experienced Corporate/ Commercial Paralegal to join their in-house legal team. This will be a temporary contract of 9 to 12 months, as one of the junior lawyers in the team is going on maternity leave. Our client is a global company with headquarters in North Yorkshire, operating in over 20 countries and has a turnover of £5.5 billion. The successful candidate will support the Group General Counsel and other members of the Group Legal Team managing a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters for the Group both in the UK and internationally. To be considered for this role, applicants must either be an experienced Paralegal or a junior England & Wales qualified solicitor with a good quality legal training and experience from either a commercial law firm or an in-house legal department. Your experience can come from a range of the mainstream commercial practice areas, inc. Commercial Contracts and Corporate. Our client will also consider applications from candidates seeking either a full-time or part-time (3 or 4 days per week) contract role as they can accommodate both. They can also consider candidates from further afield, as there would be the option to undertake this contract remotely (predominantly) but with the expectation that you would be in the office for 1 to 2 days per month. You will be an integral member of a small but supportive team and the company operates a hybrid working policy.
