Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Limited is seeking Community Care Workers in Bude and surrounding areas. The role involves home-based, person-centred care for clients recently discharged from hospital, helping them regain confidence and independence.

Shifts include early and late blocks, 36 hours per week, with extra hours available. Travel between client locations is required, and full training is provided including safeguarding, medication, and first aid.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required.
• Must be a driver with access to own vehicle.
• Willing to travel between clients in Liskeard and surrounding areas.
• Reliable, compassionate and patient with good communication.
• Full training provided: safeguarding, medication, first aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to clients in their homes.
• Support individuals after hospital discharge.
• Help clients regain independence and daily living skills.
• Assist with medication per care plans.
• Follow care plans and keep accurate records.
• Promote dignity, respect, and choice at all times.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other care professionals and team members.
