Improvement Business Partner

Application Deadline: 8 December 2025

Department: Delivery and Performance

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: London

Compensation: £45,500 per year + benefits

Description

Are you a dog lover with a knack for building relationships, identifying problems and supporting teams to find solutions?
We’re looking for an Improvement Business Partner to join our Delivery and Performance directorate, tasked with guiding and coaching various areas of our organisation to co‑design, improve, streamline and optimise their processes. While this role is hybrid with a base at our London office, the nature of this role is flexible, and the post holder will be expected to collaborate with teams across the country.

What does this role do?

As Improvement Business Partner, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with various teams across the organisation, from rehoming centres to support functions, empowering them to find solutions to their business problems,
  • Support the user‑centric design of processes and services, identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and save costs, and optimise the user experience
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement across teams, empowering all colleagues to think curiously and critically about their challenges, building organisational resilience for the future.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 15th December 2025.

Could this be you?

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator with brilliant stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively business partner, coach and influence colleagues. Ideally, you’ll have some process improvement and/or service design experience, and the ability to analyse complex processes, with keen attention to detail. While a process improvement qualification would be beneficial, we’re looking for applicants who have a positive, proactive attitude to business change, who are excited by the prospect of working autonomously and decisively, even when the brief is ambiguous or unclear.
