You will be responsible for managing customer queries, planning jobs, and ensuring compliance with loading deadlines.   • Assist the Import Manager to ensure efficiencies and standards.
  • Plan jobs, build loads, and complete necessary documents.
  • Interact with the team to confirm loading dates and times.
  • Assign drivers to relevant planned loads.
  • Complete driver run sheets and unloading lists.
  • Interact daily with other managers to ensure timely turnarounds.
  • Prepare files for charging and completion.

Job Summary

We are currently representing an opportunity on behalf of our well established logistics client based in the East Yorkshire region who are now looking for an Import Co‑ordinator to join their team and build a career within Logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and maintain the import operation, dealing with customer, driver and warehouse issues & queries, charging jobs, ferry bookings and creating job files.
  • Assist the Import Manager to ensure efficiencies and standards are carried forward.
  • Plan jobs, build loads, complete files to enable the team to finish all necessary documents.
  • Interact with the team to confirm loading dates and times, ensuring consignments are back to meet loading‑shipping deadlines.
  • Assign drivers to relevant planned loads and inform them of various details.
  • Complete driver run sheets and unloading lists.
  • Interact daily with other managers regarding the daily operation to ensure efficient and timely turnarounds.
  • Prepare files for charging and file completion.
