Job summary

Derby Moor Spencer Academy is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join from January 2027. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, help deliver engaging lessons and interventions, and foster a positive, safe learning environment.

Work closely with teachers and leaders to help all children reach their full potential, with opportunities for professional development and a real impact on learners’ lives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting such as school or nursery.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Ability to work effectively alongside teachers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience).
• Assist in delivering engaging lessons and interventions.
• Foster a positive and safe learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, senior leaders and other professionals to support all children reach their full potential.
