Qualifications

• Recent experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, proactive and adaptable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• One-to-one or small group learning support.
• Assisting pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Creating an inclusive, safe and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supporting classroom organisation and daily learning activities.
• Contributing positively to the wider school community.
