Barnardo's Store Associate role at Worle Branch is a part-time position based at 172 High Street, Worle, Weston-Super-Mare. You will support the Store Manager and volunteers to run a busy shop, gain hands-on experience, and help raise funds for vulnerable children and young people in the UK.

The role offers opportunities to learn within the store, handle stock, assist customers, and contribute to a positive team environment. 21 hours per week are available, with permanent part-time status.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment is essential.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Knowledge of fashion environment is a plus.
• Basic IT skills for stock systems and POS.

Responsabilités

• Organise stock, price items and steam before placing on shop floor.
• Assist with donor sign-ups for Gift Aid and ensure stock is moved to the floor.
• Implement promotions as directed by Head Office or Store Manager.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and stockroom organisation.
• Encourage public donations of saleable stock.
• Rotate stock daily to avoid overstock on shop floor.
