Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism and SEMH needs. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver lessons, support learning, and help students feel valued and capable in the classroom.

This role offers pro-rata hours (22 hours/week) with a full-time equivalent salary shown, and a typical pattern of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday workdays. Training and ongoing support are provided within a collaborative SEND environment.

Responsibilities

• Support learning for children and young people with autism and SEMH needs.
• Assist teachers in classroom activities and daily routines.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and school staff to implement planned support.
