Job summary

Greater London Authority is seeking a Risk and Assurance Auditor to deliver Internal Audit services across the GLA group including MPS, MOPAC and LLDC. You will undertake audit assignments, identify risks, evaluate controls and report findings to senior management.

The role requires part qualified CIA or full qualifications (AAT or CISA) and membership of the relevant professional body. Strong communication and professional credibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Part qualified CIA or equivalent; membership of professional body.
• Experience delivering risk-based internal audit services.
• Ability to communicate audit results clearly to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking programmed audit assignments across the DARA client base under supervision.
• Identify risks to business objectives, evaluate controls and suggest improvements.
• Liaise with client managers and communicate audit results, agreeing actions.
• Produce quality audit reports for senior management.
• Contribute to development of DARA policies and procedures.
