Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Duty Support Worker (Band 3) to join the Adult Community Mental Health Services team in South East Hertfordshire / Bishop's Stortford. You will work within the duty system, supporting service users and carers in coordination with the care planning process.

Qualifikationen

• Good standard of education (to include Maths and English GCSE grade C or above - or equivalent).
• NVQ in Health and Social Care.
• Experience of working with people with mental health conditions.
• Experience of working with people with dementia.
• Ability to manage distressing and challenging situations.

Aufgaben

• Support the duty system working alongside our duty worker and duty manager.
• Work as part of a team which provides mental health services.
• Focus on the needs of service users using the Care Time and Recovery Model.
• Work across service and/or care group boundaries as necessary.
• Work within the Care Programme Approach/Care Management process with a focus on Recovery Principles.
• Provide regular and practical support to service users and their carers in developing and managing their dignity and independence.
