Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Work Senior Practitioner for an ongoing full-time role in Walsall. You will work within the safeguarding team to protect vulnerable individuals, develop care plans, and supervise junior social workers.

With a focus on high professional standards, you will collaborate with partners across agencies, keep up to date with safeguarding legislation, and enjoy a supportive environment, travel where needed, and clear pathways for career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work with substantial frontline UK experience.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the safeguarding team to assess and intervene for at-risk individuals and families.
• Develop and implement care plans focused on safety and wellbeing.
• Supervise and support junior social workers.
• Coordinate with external partners to deliver holistic support.
• Stay updated on legislation and best practices in social work.
