Job summary

Teaching Personnel is supporting a welcoming primary school in Garnant, Ammanford, seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support pupils in Nursery and ALN provision. Full-time, immediate start available, £92.63 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

This role suits Psychology Graduates, Sports Coaches, Youth Workers and others with transferable care or mentoring experience who want valuable experience in education.

Responsibilities

• Supporting nursery-aged pupils and children with ALN.
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to encourage engagement and progress.
• Assisting with classroom activities and personalised learning plans.
• Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Supporting pupils with communication, emotional and social development.
• Working closely with teaching staff and specialist support teams.
