Job summary

Colten Care is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant at Waterloo Lodge School, part of Acorn Education and Care, in Chorley. Earn £18,732 per annum with 40 hours per week on a permanent, term-time only basis.

Waterloo Lodge School supports children aged 11–18 with diverse needs. Full training is provided, you’ll work as part of a supportive team, assisting with learning activities and ensuring learners engage with education.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Adaptable and willing to work in varied classroom roles.
• Interest in helping vulnerable children and young people to live happy, fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities.
• Take responsibility for students' emotional and physical needs.
• Support pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs and progress.
