Job summary

Peterborough City Council is recruiting a Social Care Child Practitioner to join the Family Safeguarding Service. You will work directly with children, young people and their families in the home and in community settings to promote welfare and safety.

You will support parent/carers to develop routines, boundaries and behaviours to manage challenges, while ensuring the child’s voice is heard in decision making. Interviews will be held on 15th and 16th October.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families in safeguarding settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated creativity in engaging with challenging situations.

Responsibilities
