Job summary

Astros Education seeks an Early Years Teaching Assistant for roles across Crewe and Cheshire East. You will support children aged 0–5 in a play-based environment, helping to plan and deliver activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum and encourage learning through exploration.

This full-time, day-to-day opportunity offers immediate start with daily rates of £90–£95 depending on experience. A nurturing, patient approach and DBS check (or willingness to apply) are valued.

Qualifications

• Support children aged 0–5 within EYFS framework.
• Experience with children (paid or voluntary) is desirable.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supporting key children with their learning and development
• Setting up safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor play environments
• Assisting with observations and learning journals
• Building strong relationships with children, parents and carers
• Promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of all children
