Job summary

Academics is seeking a Classroom Support Assistant for a specialist school in Bracknell, Berkshire. Start ASAP. Full-time role paying 90-105 per day. You will assist with day-to-day classroom learning and provide 1:1 or small group support throughout the school day.

You will collaborate with teachers to help pupils stay engaged and develop independence, with opportunities for graduates exploring Teaching, Education or SEN careers.

Qualifications

• Background in education, childcare, SEN, youth work, care or support work is relevant.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is advantageous.
• Graduate candidates considering a future in Teaching/Education/SEN are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their day-to-day classroom learning
• Provide 1:1 and small group assistance where required
• Help pupils remain focused and engaged with lessons
• Adapt tasks and activities to suit individual learning needs
• Encourage pupils to develop independence and confidence
