Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 CAMHS CBT Psychotherapist to join the Community CAMHS North team on a fixed-term basis for 36 months. You will provide specialist CBT assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for children and young people with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties.

The role involves risk assessment, safeguarding, care planning and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Specialist CBT assessment, formulation and intervention for children and young people.
• Experience in risk assessment, safeguarding and crisis planning.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary CAMHS setting and with family involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist CBT assessment, formulation and intervention.
• Work within a Community CAMHS MDT to support access to care and care planning.
• Undertake risk assessment including safeguarding and crisis planning.
• Deliver CBT interventions, including parent/carer work and group-based options where appropriate.
