Job summary

Ramboll in the United Kingdom and Ireland is offering an Early Careers Graduate role in Environmental Impact Assessment. The programme combines environmental and social impact work on UK projects with opportunities for international collaboration within Ramboll's global service lines.

You will be paired with a mentor, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to a range of projects across energy, infrastructure, development and planning sectors.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree with interest in environmental impact assessment and management.
• Enthusiasm for learning, research, and teamwork.
• Adaptability with good time management and analytical skills.
• Good digital literacy; GIS experience and AI literacy are beneficial.
• Numerical proficiency and strong English communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support early stage feasibility assessment and environmental constraints analysis with planning teams.
• Participate in all ESA stages including screening, scoping, and Environmental Statements.
• Coordinate environmental surveys (ecology, peat, noise, air quality) and site walkovers.
• Engage stakeholders and regulators during proposals and public consultations.
• Contribute to environmental design inputs and survey delivery planning.
• Draft Environmental Statement chapters and assist in business development efforts.
