Overview

Our client is a global leader in health diagnostic tools and services, specialising in providing easy-to‑use diagnostics to improve patients' lives. Due to company expansion, they are now seeking an experienced scientist to support projects facilitating In‑Vitro Diagnostics development.

Role

Working as part of a small investigations team, you will support projects around technical support for product improvement and development, collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Support projects for the ongoing product development, product release and advancement of IVD tools.
  • Use technical experience in IVD development to solve complex problems and provide optimisation and corrective actions.
  • Maintain market awareness of utilising scientific data to improve immunohistochemical products.
Qualifications
  • Significant industry experience working with immunohistochemical assays and assay development.
  • Knowledge of molecular chemistries involved in advanced immunohistochemical assays (e.g. FISH).
  • Experience of microscopic slide examination.
  • Familiarity with recombinant protein manufacture, hybridoma growth and cell culture is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and a problem‑solving approach.
  • Ideally educated to MSc in a relevant biological discipline, or with equivalent industry experience.
