Job summary

Spire Workplace Health is seeking an Immunisation Nurse to deliver expert services at the University of Worcester and client sites across the region.

You will work up to 30 hours per week in a permanent role, requiring a Registered Nurse with an NMC pin and immunisation post-registration experience; on-site training and mentoring are provided.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • Post-registration experience in Immunisations with Adults desirable.
  • Evidence of up-to-date BLS and anaphylaxis training.
  • Access to a car and a valid UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical delivery of immunisation services at the University of Worcester and client sites.
  • Assist with clinical audits and quality/safety benchmarks within the department.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immunisation issues and reflect this in practice.
  • Support service development and participate in quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:



  • You will support the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester and other clients.

  • Support the team with Clinical audits.

  • Improving and maintaining quality and safety standards and participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as SEQOHS.

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within the speciality of Occupational Health and ensure this reflects in your own clinical practice.

  • Monitor the quality-of-service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation.

  • To work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, always maintaining professional standards.
