Job Description

As an Immigration Senior Associate your duties you will deal with the competing legal demands of clients which arise from involvement in a number of separate transactions at once and will need to have the ability to work flexibly to tight deadlines as well the ability to demonstrate the delivery of excellent client care.

We are looking for a candidate with a good base of experience in UK immigration law particularly advising on right to work compliance and training, sponsor licence applications, sponsor duties and compliance, Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility and other sponsored visa applications and accompanying dependent applications.

Experience of providing written advice to businesses on strategic immigration decisions is essential. A wider knowledge of personal immigration applications including indefinite leave to remain, spousal and naturalisation applications would be desirable but not essential. It is also desirable to have had some experience in contentious immigration such as audits, challenging civil penalties and making representations to UKVI on behalf of clients. We also welcome applications from those who have cross immigration and employment law experience.

You will work directly with the Partners and wider team to manage immigration matters across a number of sectors including: education, technology, retail, industrials, financial services and utilities. You will supervise as appropriate more junior members of the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Immigration Senior Associate should have between 4-8 PQE dealing with immigration matters. Please note the level of experience identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
