BCL Legal is partnering with a leading UK law firm to recruit an Immigration Associate or Senior Associate (2-4 PQE) to join a busy Employment & Immigration team.

You will handle a broad UK corporate immigration caseload, sponsor licence work, SMS reporting, ILR and other personal applications, and advise on right to work and audits within a national practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years' PQE in UK corporate immigration.
• Experience advising employers on sponsorship arrangements and licensing obligations.
• Knowledge of ILR, British Citizenship, Naturalisation and dependent visas.

Immigration Associate / Senior Associate

BCL is currently working with a leading UK law firm on an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Immigration Associate or Senior Associate (2-4 PQE) to join a highly regarded Employment & Immigration team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate immigration solicitor to develop their career within an established national practice, advising a diverse client base ranging from growing businesses to major multinational organisations.

You will work on a broad range of UK corporate immigration matters, alongside personal immigration applications, providing commercially focused advice and helping clients navigate an increasingly complex immigration landscape.

Working as part of the Employment & Immigration team, your responsibilities will include:

• Advising employer clients on a wide range of UK corporate immigration matters.
• Assisting businesses with sponsor licence applications, renewals and ongoing sponsor licence compliance.
• Advising on sponsorship arrangements, Skilled Worker visa applications and associated reporting obligations.
• Providing guidance on sponsor duties, including the use of the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) and compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requirements.
• Advising on personal immigration applications, including Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), British Citizenship and Naturalisation, dependant visas, Schengen visas and Global Talent applications.
• Providing right to work advice and supporting employers with right to work audits and compliance requirements.
• Assisting with immigration audits, internal reviews and client training.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering practical and commercially focused advice.
• Supporting the team's business development activities and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with -

• At least 2 years' PQE and demonstrable experience in UK corporate immigration.
• Experience advising employers on corporate immigration matters and sponsorship arrangements.
• A strong understanding of sponsor licence applications, sponsor duties and ongoing reporting obligations.
• Experience advising on Skilled Worker visa applications and using the Sponsorship Management System (SMS).
• Knowledge of personal immigration applications, including ILR, British Citizenship, Naturalisation, dependant visas and Global Talent applications.
• Experience advising on right to work requirements and conducting compliance audits.
