Job summary

World of Wedgwood in Staffordshire is seeking Christmas Cast Members for a Fixed Term Contract from 14 November to 24 December. You will perform in festive scenes, guide families, and help deliver an immersive Santa experience across the site.

We value passion for theatre, ability to stay in character, improvisation, and teamwork in a small ensemble. You’ll be part of a luxury guest experience, with Santa grotto duties and engaging with visitors during peak Christmas events.

Qualifications

• Passion and experience of character work and performing.
• Experience of acting/performance background.
• Passion for immersive theatre & interacting with audiences.
• Experience in improvisation.
• Team player, someone who wants to work as part of a small ensemble.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to the role and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of our Christmas events so they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Performing in short scenes, immersive character work around the site, improvising with other characters, taking families to see Santa and other cast member duties.
• Helping the Wedgwood Interactors to ensure a seamless end to end guest experience.
• Every aspect of our experiences must be delivered to a high and efficient standard to promote a positive experience with World of Wedgwood.
• Maintaining the traditional Santa story at all times, ensuring you are only seen by guests in character and not in any other capacity.
