Immediate Start Teaching Assistant

If you’re ready to jump straight into a school role, this Immediate Start Teaching Assistant position in Sunderland could be the perfect opportunity. Schools in the area are looking for someone calm, reliable and confident supporting pupils in day-to-day learning.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work with pupils in lessons, help them stay on task and support teachers with classroom routines. Every day looks a little different, and you’ll quickly become an important part of the school community.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with classwork and group activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
• Helping with classroom setup and simple admin tasks
• Providing reassurance to pupils who need extra guidance
• Working alongside teachers and support teams

What you’ll bring
