Job summary

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our client's team in the Dunfermline KY7 area. The role involves maintaining cleanliness across designated areas, including general cleaning, restrooms, kitchens and common areas to high hygiene standards.

Immediate start, Monday to Friday, with a flexible start time around 06:00. On-site parking is available. Pay is £12.71 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE. This position offers reliable ongoing work with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights as necessary for cleaning tasks.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
