CY Partners are seeking an Analytical Chemist for an immediate-start contract in Cambridgeshire. The role involves supporting analytical testing, data interpretation, and collaboration with wider laboratory teams to maintain high quality results.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS and UV, and can hit the ground running in a busy lab environment with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytical chemistry with industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, UV or other relevant analytical instrumentation.
• Immediate or very short-term availability.

Responsibilities

• Performing analytical testing using established methods.
• Interpreting analytical data and producing accurate results.
• Supporting method development, validation and transfer activities.
• Investigating analytical issues and contributing to troubleshooting.
• Maintaining accurate laboratory records in line with quality/regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with colleagues across analytical, development and wider laboratory functions.
• Ensuring laboratory work is carried out safely and according to procedures.
