Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced IMI-qualified Panel Technician to join a busy automotive bodyshop in Crewe. You will repair and restore vehicle bodywork after accidents, ensuring a return to pre-accident condition and high-quality finish.

Qualifications

• IMI qualification in Vehicle Body Repair / Panel Technician.
• Proven experience as a Panel Technician / Panel Beater / Body Repair Technician.
• Experience repairing accident-damaged vehicles.
• Good understanding of vehicle structures and repair methods.
• Ability to work to high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality panel repairs on a range of vehicles
• Assess accident damage and determine the appropriate repair method
• Repair, replace and align damaged body panels
• Carry out welding and structural repairs where required
• Use specialist bodyshop tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure vehicle panels are correctly aligned and fitted
• Work closely with MET Technicians and Paint Technicians throughout the repair process
• Complete all repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards
• Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
