Job summary

Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking a bank Imaging Assistant to support ultrasound and fluoroscopy clinics with compassionate patient care and chaperoning duties in a busy imaging department.

You will work zero-hour ad hoc shifts, with a Monday to Saturday pattern, and join a multidisciplinary team under Spire's Resourcing Team. Prior experience and ultrasound exposure are desirable, with progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Healthcare assistant experience in acute care setting.
• Exposure to ultrasound environment.
• Ability to assist Radiologists during ultrasound and fluoroscopy.
• Willingness to chaperone where appropriate.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist Imaging team in patient care.
• Support and monitor patients.
• Report significant changes to health and wellbeing.
• Assist with patient movement per hospital policy.
