Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) is seeking a lead for Imaging Quality and Research at Royal Stoke. You will drive governance, ensure high standards of record keeping, and support a culture of evidence-based practice to enhance patient experience.

Working within the Imaging Quality and Research Team, you will develop KPI monitoring, support research trials, manage budgets, and collaborate across CareGroups to embed best practice while complying with national standards.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered
• Experience and knowledge of developing/peer reviewing documentation pertaining to a specialist area
• Knowledge of research ethics/standards
• Experience of Datix and risk management
• Previous participation or contribution to research trials/projects and/or audits
• Previous participation or contribution to internal/external assessments
• Knowledge and experience of local and national regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Supporting and managing Imaging's risk management processes and ensuring completed incident investigations are of high standard and timely
• Identifying trends and working with modality teams to develop quality improvement processes to reduce risk and improve quality of care
• Lead on providing research and audit evidence for external assessments and support KPI development for local audit processes
