Qualifications

  • Experience working with clinical IT systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of imaging department workflows.
  • Good understanding of principles of Information Governance.

Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of RIS, PACS & VNA system performance.
  • Perform application configuration for imaging IT systems.
  • Support planning and management of system upgrades.
  • Extract complex statistical information from the systems.
  • Provide training for all diagnostic imaging staff.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to manipulate statistical data using Microsoft Excel

Education

Educated to degree level
Registered Health Care Professional or significant experience supporting Healthcare or Radiology IT systems
Recognised IT qualification / certification
Project management and ITIL Foundation level qualification

Tools

Basic use of MS Office products
Knowledge of DICOM
Knowledge of HL7
