Job summary

Nuffield Health’s The Holly Hospital in Buckhurst Hill is seeking an Imaging Assistant to join a busy diagnostics imaging team. You will prepare rooms and patients for ultrasound, MRI, CT and interventional procedures, helping deliver safe, high‑quality care in a supportive environment.

You’ll work closely with radiographers, sonographers and consultants to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience, with training provided to build confidence in imaging support duties.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification or 3+ years in healthcare.
• Patient-centred care with dignity and comfort.
• Ability to work in a busy clinical environment and support the Imaging team.
• Clear, empathetic communication and flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging team by preparing rooms and equipment.
• Prepare patients, position and assist during examinations.
• Escort patients through visits and maintain a professional environment.
• Collaborate with radiographers, sonographers and consultants.
• Support patient flow and daily imaging workflow.
