Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Imaging Assistant to support the Radiology Service. You will help patients during imaging and assist radiographic teams with non-nursing care in a busy clinical environment.

You will work across ultrasound, X-ray, CT and MRI in a multidisciplinary setting, contributing to a high-quality patient journey and developing valuable radiology experience within the NHS.

As An Imaging Assistant, You Will Play An Important Role In Supporting Our Radiographic Teams With All Non-nursing Aspects Of Patient Care. You Will Help Patients Feel Comfortable, Safe And Supported Throughout Their Imaging Experience, While Working Alongside Experienced Healthcare Professionals Across a Wide Range Of Services, Including:

• Ultrasound
• X-ray
• CT
• MRI
