Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) is seeking an Imager Electronics Engineer in Guildford. Join the Optical Payload Group to contribute to cradle-to-grave space missions, from concept through AIT, launch, and operations.

You will lead verification, testing, and debugging of imager electronics, develop test plans for digital, analogue, and mixed-signal circuits, and support design teams with robust testability and verification.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in electronics verification, testing, and debugging.
• Experience in mixed-signal circuit testing and validation.
• Proficiency with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, analysers, signal generators).
• Understanding of FPGA design and verification in VHDL.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification, testing, and debugging of imager electronics.
• Develop and execute test plans for digital, analogue, and mixed-signal electronics.
• Perform detailed circuit-level debugging using lab equipment.
• Prepare electronics for manufacture and acceptance testing.
• Design and maintain electronics test equipment and automation.
