Job summary

Howells Consulting Ltd, an established tax and business advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Adviser to lead IHT and succession planning for entrepreneurial clients in Coventry.

You will work closely with partners, deliver hands-on advisory services to HNW business owners and multigenerational families, and shape the Private Client Tax offering with scope for progression. Hybrid working 2–3 days a week, supportive environment in a friendly firm.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced CTA with strong IHT and succession planning expertise.
• Proven client-facing advisory experience with entrepreneurial/HNW clients.
• Excellent project management and ability to lead and deliver complex advisory engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead IHT and succession planning advisory for private clients.
• Collaborate with partners and junior staff to deliver and shape the Private Client Tax offering.
• Develop client relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and manage projects end-to-end.
