Job summary

A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced IFC Implementation Lead in Derry/Londonderry. In this role, you will manage the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring compliance throughout the organization. You’ll oversee project delivery, manage stakeholder communication, and lead training initiatives. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in financial services, alongside management skills in coaching and project management. This role offers a balance of office and client engagement within the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of work experience within financial services, preferably within a finance function.
• 3-5 years of management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing diverse operational finance teams.
• Proven track record of managing complex finance and multi‑functional projects, utilising structured project methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in IFRS implementation or financial reporting transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of the IFRS process, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Support process design, process mapping, and IFRS scoping analysis.
• Oversee testing, controls effectiveness, and integration of IFRS into existing IT systems.
• Develop training programs and manage change management initiatives.
