Job summary

Eden Scott is recruiting for an IFA Administrator/Client Services Associate to join a growing private wealth team. This is an excellent opportunity for school leavers, college leavers or graduates seeking a career in financial services.

You will provide administrative and client service support to financial advisers, helping to deliver an outstanding client experience while developing essential industry knowledge and skills, with full training and clear progression.

Qualifications

  • Numeracy and literacy at A-Level or equivalent.
  • School leaver / college leaver / graduate suitable.
  • Interest in financial services, wealth management or investments.

Responsibilities

  • Process payments, withdrawals and account transactions across investment products.
  • Monitor account activity, cash reconciliations and outstanding fees.
  • Assist with transfer of client investments and liaise with providers.
  • Prepare documentation for financial planning teams.
  • Handle client change requests and update details.
  • Produce client reports, valuations and transaction statements.
  • Support processing of new business applications.
  • Support account closures and administration relating to estates.

This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver, college leaver or graduate who is keen to build a career within financial services and wealth management.


You will provide administrative and client service support to financial advisers, helping to deliver an outstanding client experience while developing valuable industry knowledge and skills.


The Opportunity

Working as part of a collaborative client services team, you will support both existing and new clients throughout their financial planning journey. The role offers exposure to a wide range of wealth management activities and provides an excellent foundation for those seeking a long-term career in financial services.


Successful candidates may gain experience across a number of operational and client service functions, allowing for broad professional development and progression opportunities.


Key Responsibilities


  • Process payments, withdrawals and account transactions across a range of investment products.

  • Monitor account activity, cash reconciliations and outstanding fees.

  • Support the transfer of client investments and liaise with providers and colleagues to ensure timely completion.

  • Request and analyse information from financial institutions and prepare documentation for financial planning teams.

  • Process client change requests, including updates to personal and banking details.

  • Produce client reports, valuations, performance summaries and transaction statements.

  • Assist with the processing of new business applications.

  • Support account closures and administration relating to deceased estates.

  • Build effective relationships with third-party providers and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure client communications are accurate, professional and issued within agreed timescales.

  • Manage incoming correspondence and allocate appropriately.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute ideas to improve operational processes and efficiencies.

  • Support a culture of excellent client service and continuous improvement.


About You

Experience & Knowledge

  • Understanding of financial services administration, settlements or transfers would be desirable.


Qualifications


  • Numeracy and literacy skills to A-Level, Higher or equivalent standard.

  • Suitable for school leavers, college leavers and graduates.

  • Candidates studying towards, or interested in pursuing, professional financial services qualifications will be viewed favourably.
