A leading financial services firm is seeking an equities documentation negotiator in London. The role involves drafting and negotiating trading agreements while liaising with various internal stakeholders and clients. The Institutional Equities Division is a global leader in the origination, distribution and trading of equity, equity-linked securities, and equity-derivatives. Business Control Unit (“BCU”) is a first line team within the Institutional Equities Division which covers a number of risk areas, including Non‑Market Risk (Operational Risk), Counterparty Risk, Conduct Risk and Contract Negotiations.
The BCU Institutional Securities Documentation Team covers the contract negotiation function for trading agreements for the equities division, including OTC and exchange traded derivatives, clearing and prime brokerage business, and is currently looking for an equities documentation negotiator with a focus on institutional clients of the Institutional Equities Division. The role involves collaborating with various areas of the Firm, interacting with external clients, and negotiating different types of documentation.
