Job summary

Experis is seeking an Application Developer in Sheffield with a strong focus on identity API development, data ingestion, and event-driven architectures. You will work on secure, scalable identity and access workflows across Google Cloud Platform, integrating identity services with APIs and Pub/Sub pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with modern identity orchestration platforms and IAM workflows.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js for API/microservice development.
• Experience deploying cloud-native APIs (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE).
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SAML and identity federation patterns.
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with API gateways and service mesh is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity flows for provisioning and lifecycle events.
• Build and secure RESTful APIs and backend services for identity and governance workflows.
• Develop Pub/Sub pipelines and cloud-native services for asynchronous processing.
• Automate IAM configurations and deployments via CI/CD and Terraform.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application engineering teams.
