About the Trust

The skills to develop, support and maintain our systems and services are done in house with the help of a highly motivated group of technical specialists.

Apprentice Programme

Following the success of our ongoing apprentice programme we are recruiting again to the post of ICT Technical Apprentice.

Successful candidates will be expected to work in challenging and dynamic environments and will be supported throughout their career in the Trust by experienced staff who will offer coaching and supervision. You will also be provided with a comprehensive induction, and ongoing training.

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust in partnership with the learning provider will support you to complete a Level 3 ICT Information Telecommunications Apprenticeship. After this you will be equipped with the necessary skills and experience to be eligible to apply for a permanent post (subject to availability). There may also be an opportunity to study towards a higher level apprenticeship or work flexibly through our temporary staffing bank.

Requirements

We are continually creating opportunities in locations across Birmingham & Solihull in a wide range of departments and clinical settings. You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and good communication skills to be selected. You will also be required to function at a Level 2 standard in Literacy and Numeracy, as a minimum requirement.
