Job description

ICT Teacher needed for a role in a prestigious Secondary school based in Newport - ASAP.

A popular school based in Newport is seeking a qualified ICT Teacher to enhance the learning and development of their students. The school is looking for an experienced ICT Teacher who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices, and possess strong behavior management skills.

This is a full-time role, which includes planning and assessment under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful ICT Teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working with ALN students on a 1:1 basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Preferably QTS or PCET qualifications;
  • Experience teaching ICT up to A-Level;
  • A genuine desire to make a positive difference to the pupils they work with.
