About The Project

Mace Dragados Joint Venture (MDJV) is the construction partner for the new HS2 Euston Station, working with HS2 Ltd and design partners to deliver new platforms, concourse structures, and interchange links to London Underground and National Rail.

About The Role

Provides lead-level accountability for the secure, reliable and cost-effective delivery and operation of the project’s ICT services, development solutions and technology-enabled change. The role directs multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, assures performance and compliance, and ensures technology outcomes support business objectives and stakeholder needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Set the direction, priorities, standards and accountabilities for ICT services, development solutions and technology-enabled change, aligning stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers around agreed business outcomes.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of ICT infrastructure, hardware, networks, telephony, software and associated services across all project locations, from planning and implementation through operation, support and decommissioning.
  • Direct the end-to-end delivery of software and systems solutions, including requirements, design, development, configuration, testing, integration, deployment and transition to support, including solutions using Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Power Automate.
  • Lead ICT personnel, developers, cross-functional teams and delivery partners; resolve competing priorities, facilitate timely decisions and elevate matters requiring senior intervention.
  • Manage ICT procurement, contracts, service levels, licences, suppliers and budgets to achieve value for money, effective cost control and appropriate commercial challenge.
  • Assure delivery and operational performance against approved scope, time, cost, quality, service and benefits expectations, directing corrective action where required.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project controls, governance, quality, cyber and information security, data protection and change control requirements, supported by effective service, data, exit and decommissioning plans.
  • Maintain oversight of system availability, resilience and performance; lead major incident escalation, recovery and service restoration; and apply lessons learned to improve ICT and digital delivery.
What You’ll Bring
  • Broad knowledge of ICT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, enterprise architecture, systems integration, software, hardware, licensing and service management, with specialist expertise in one or more areas.
  • Ability to lead software development, digital transformation and systems implementation using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Power Automate, and the governance required for their effective use and development.
  • Working knowledge of applicable cyber security, information security, data protection, quality assurance, governance and change control requirements.
  • Commercial acumen in contract, licence, service-level, supplier, budget and resource management.
  • Ability to apply proportionate governance, performance controls, risk management and assurance across operational services and change initiatives.
  • Substantial experience leading ICT operational services, infrastructure and technology-enabled change within a large project or programme organisation.
  • Proven experience directing multidisciplinary teams and suppliers and reporting performance, risks and decisions to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience managing ICT contracts, service performance, budgets and commercial outcomes.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in information technology, computer science, software engineering, business systems, ICT management or a related discipline.
  • Project management qualification or certification, such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master or equivalent, is desirable.
Nice to have
  • Strong understanding of construction and project controls applications and their integration within complex programme environments.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Common Data Environments (CDEs), document management systems or digital information management platforms on major projects.
  • Knowledge of BIM, digital engineering and information management practices, including ISO 19650 principles.
