Job summary

Knowes Housing Association Ltd in Clydebank is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the development and maintenance of the Association’s ICT and Telecommunication Systems, applications and equipment. This is a permanent, 35-hour-per-week role with hybrid working options or our flexi-time/nine-day fortnight.

EVH Grade 8 salary range £51,075 - £55,259. You will manage external ICT partners, advise the Board on ICT strategy, policies and reporting, and ensure customer-focused ICT services

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining ICT strategy and delivery plans.
• Proven ability to work with external ICT partners and service providers.
• Strong reporting and management information skills.
• Excellent IT, communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Association’s ICT and Telecommunication Systems, applications and equipment.
• Deliver the long-term ICT Strategy and annual delivery plan.
• Advise the Board and staff on ICT matters, policies and procedures including MIS.
• Manage external ICT support partners and ensure reliable ICT services for customers.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Knowes Housing Association Ltd (KHA) for the post of ICT Manager. This is a permanent post, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and has the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis or take part in our office based flexi-time scheme or nine-day fortnight.

KHA is a community based social landlord committed to its mission of providing good quality affordable housing and services. The Association owns and manages 1068 properties and provides factoring services to 569 customers across the Clydebank area. We have 20 members of staff and an annual turnover of £5.8m.

KHA is looking for an outstanding candidate to develop and maintain the Association’s ICT and Telecommunication Systems, applications and equipment and deliver the Association’s long term ICT Strategy and the annual ICT delivery plan.

You will have responsibility of managing our external support partners including our ICT managed service provider. You will advise our Board and staff on all matters relating to the ICT function of the Association including the development of IT systems, policy and procedures within the organisation, Reporting and Management Information Systems. You will be customer focussed and have excellent IT, report writing, communication and people skills. You will also have excellent organisational skills. You will have experience of supporting ICT infrastructure, and administering software in a customer services environment, ideally possessing a relevant IT qualification.
