Infrastructure Engineer

Reports to: Head of Hybrid & Modern Workplace

Must have a valid driving licence and vehicle due to frequent travel.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 depending on experience + benefits

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality technical solutions on time that address business challenges and create value for clients.
  • Prepare clear, accurate documentation to support implementations, troubleshooting, and client knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects and support requests are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Travel to client sites as required to support project delivery and technical services.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, delivering high quality work.
  • Strong Microsoft knowledge, from Active Directory to Windows servers and user devices.
  • Proficient in cloud and on‑premises integration, with a deep understanding of network and infrastructure concepts relevant to hybrid setups.
  • Experience with SAN architecture and installation (e.g., Nimble, Dell, HP) and NAS implementation.
  • Backups including Veeam installation, upgrade and configuration; experience in disaster recovery and testing.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a managed service provider (MSP) or IT service environment.
  • Must be willing and able to travel as part of the role with a full driving licence.
