A health service support organization in East Midlands is seeking two proactive ICT End User Support Technicians to provide essential support for desktop and portable IT equipment used by clinical and operational teams. Applicants should possess a full UK driving licence and relevant technical support experience. The role offers a 12-month fixed term contract, emphasizing collaborative work to enhance patient care.
We are seeking two proactive ICT End User Support Technicians to join the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust’s IT team. These roles are vital in supporting desktop and portable IT equipment across main and remote sites, helping clinical and operational teams deliver high-quality patient care.
You’ll provide technical support to users, resolving faults promptly and maintaining equipment using current operating systems, deployment tools, and patch management systems.
Other duties include packaging and deploying applications, testing updates, maintaining service records, liaising with suppliers, and performing routine infrastructure tasks like tape changes and system monitoring. You’ll also contribute to ICT projects and broader service improvements.
Please note this is a 12 month Fixed term contract and a full UK driving licence is essential, with travel to remote sites required.
