Job summary

A healthcare organization in Liverpool is seeking an ICCNT Administrator to provide clerical support. The role requires a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above including English Language and relevant administrative experience, ideally in an NHS environment. 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 2.30pm

To provide comprehensive clerical support to work alongside our Administration Co‑ordinator. The post holder will be expected to work with a minimum of supervision, exercising independent judgement and using their own initiative. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times when dealing with patient/staff information. The post holder will be supervised by the Assistant Service Manager on a day‑to‑day basis.

To provide a confident and professional service to all patients and their parents/carers, whilst supporting them throughout their pathway of care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the service
  • Attend meetings as required, taking and transcribing minutes within locally agreed timescales
  • Deal effectively with all incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Collate data for Key Performance Indicators for the team
  • Monitor and order stock
  • Allocate referrals to the correct community team
Qualifications
  • Good standard of education – minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including English Language
  • AMSPAR qualification or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge/experience (or working towards)
  • Word Processing RSA II or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience of an administrative role providing general provision of administrative duties in a challenging and constantly changing environment
  • Experience of maintaining and setting up databases
  • Experience in planning and organising meetings and taking minutes
  • Experience of providing administrative support to a team
  • Experience of working within an NHS environment
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of computer packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Ability to use email and maintain and update electronic diaries
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and Caldicott Principles and understanding of the need to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Previous experience in use of Meditech and Medisec
