Within the IB Data Office team we are looking for someone like this to:

• Partner with Business, COO and Technology Experts to implement the IB's data strategy aligning closely with business objectives and adapts to changes in technology.
• Promote a clear understanding of foundational data principles and how the IB is delivering them to ensure key stakeholders are on the same page.
• Lead discussions with senior stakeholders to find solutions to known challenges and make our existing data easier to use.
• Provide clear outcomes and recommendations, considering the complexities involved.

Your team

The IB Data Office team provides leadership to ensure that data for the IB division is aligned to the policy and strategy of the firm. The IB Data Office consists of a change team which implements data related changes and a run-the-bank team which ensures compliance with relevant policies and frameworks. This role is within the run-the-bank team and the successful candidate is expected to work closely with the change team.

The IB Data Office consists of c.20 staff. The IB Data Office is part of the IB Chief Operating Office (COO), in IB Change.

We work in partnership with colleagues across functions to develop practical and implementable solutions spanning all business areas and front to back functions.

Your expertise

• A 'can do' approach to handle multiple priorities and hit deadlines and an ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across functions including technology.
• Strong communication skills with evidence of senior stakeholder management.
• Strong technical expertise having worked with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL etc., to enable oversight and review of solutions being developed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• People management experience, ideally where significant changes to existing information / data flows have taken place.
• Data Management skills with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within an Investment Bank.
