Job summary

JD Sports is seeking an IAM Analyst to join the Security team in Bury. The role focuses on administering IAM systems, provisioning and de-provisioning users, and enforcing RBAC to ensure least privilege across resources.

You will monitor IAM-related incidents, collaborate with HR and IT to automate lifecycle workflows, and conduct access certifications in line with security standards such as NIST/ISO 27001. Training and documentation are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience administering IAM systems and RBAC in large environments.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, provisioning, SSO, MFA, and PAM concepts.
• Understanding of IT security principles and data protection requirements.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Administer IAM systems daily, including user provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Perform access reviews and RBAC enforcement to ensure least privilege.
• Monitor IAM incidents and respond to security events.
• Collaborate with HR/IT to automate user lifecycle management.
• Conduct access certifications to ensure policy compliance.
• Analyze access patterns and recommend improvements for security and efficiency.
• Develop and enforce IAM policies and standards.
• Maintain documentation of IAM configurations.
• Provide training to new users on IAM systems.
• Stay updated on IAM trends and technologies.
