IAM Engineer/ Architect

Location: Sheffield, Birmingham or Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Contract: 6 months (initial)
Status: Inside IR35

We're looking for a Security Architect to lead end-to-end solution design for major transformation programme. This role blends deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, offering the chance to shape cutting‑edge security solutions for AI‑driven platforms.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high‑level solution designs aligned with business requirements and architectural standards.
• Create new architecture patterns, sign off on key design decisions, and manage technical risks.
• Present solutions to design authorities and senior stakeholders.
• Provide technical thought leadership and act as a subject matter expert across projects.

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in Identity & Access Management (IAM) - essential.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI/ML services and implementing AI systems.
• Broad IT knowledge and ability to communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise and solution architecture frameworks (SABSA, TOGAF preferred).
• Certifications such as CISSP/CISM highly desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing IAM solutions for agentic AI platforms.
• Proficiency with tools like BizzDesign, Jira, and Confluence.
