Housing Company in Warrington is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer (Identity & Cloud) on a 6‑month initial contract. The role focuses on IAM, Entra ID, PIM, Azure, Microsoft 365 security and Power Platform governance.

You will work with Cyber Security, Architecture and Infrastructure to strengthen identity governance and secure cloud platforms. Key responsibilities include administering Entra ID, enabling conditional access, maintaining PIM and access governance, and producing security

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including CA, Identity Protection and Access Governance.
• Implement and improve Privileged Identity Management (PIM) controls.
• Support secure configuration and operation of Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Implement and maintain Defender security controls.
• Assist in security monitoring, incident response and threat investigations.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation.
• Contribute to Power Platform governance and DLP policies.
• Produce and maintain security standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Architecture, Infrastructure and business teams to embed security in projects.
